“Idleness” is a visualization experiment focusing on idle moments of summer, the moments when you don’t have to do anything. This experiment all together, portrays an idle universe that we long for.

46-piece collection, all one-of-a-kind hand-picked pieces upcycled and reconstructed fromold laces, table clothes, beddings, cross-stitched trousseau pieces, reject towels, and more. “Idleness” gathers vivacious summer looks featuring local craft materials to explore their aesthetic potentials. 

The collection is inspired by vivid images of idle time; a picnic at the lakeside, a route between islands, the sun showing itself behind wooden windows or a pool you float in. With the graphics and materials used, all garments designed to recall sequences of summer idleness.

The picnic basket with wine, bread and flowers, accompanies idlers on a picnic day. The net bag carries wet towels from the beach. The robe on a chilly summer morning or the suit for dressing up on a summer night. “Idleness” offers genuine and sustainable companions for idlers lurking in time and waiting to emerge on a lazy summer evening.
